Compact PortabilityThe dehumidifier weighs in just over 11 pounds, measures 17 ½” high and features a convenient built-in carry handle. A removable water reservoir holds up to ½ gallon of water, providing hours of dependable use before emptying is necessary. Connect the included hose for optional continuous drainage. | Easy-Clean FilterA durable filtration system effectively captures dust, dander, fibers, hair and other airborne particles that may disrupt the dehumidifier’s performance. Prolong the life of the unit by removing the back panel, taking out the filter and cleaning it thoroughly with either running water (dry completely) or a vacuum cleaner. | Anti-Tilt ShutoffMultiple built-in safety features ensure the dehumidifier will never cause water damage or an electrical emergency during operation. The LCD display signals helpful reservoir alerts so you know when to drain; the internal system also monitors the unit’s stability, automatically shutting off with sudden movement. | Perfect for LaundryAn adjustable swinging air outlet offers superior directional control for drying out wet clothes, towels, sheets, rugs, mats and other all-weather gear. Bring the dehumidifier along when staying in an RV or boat, and see significant speedup of laundry drying time. You can also use it to prevent post-flood mold and mildew. |
Designed to work wonders in basements, boats, RVs and other cold or semi-outdoor spaces, this new technology dehumidifies rooms as low as 33°F and as high as 104°F [1°C-40°C]. There’s no need for a loud, heavy compressor, so the expelled air is slightly warmer, making it perfect for drying clothes and more.
An easy-read backlit display with touch buttons grants you effortless control over your environment. Adjust the unit’s various settings to achieve ideal air conditions.

The unit is great and was quiet when used the first year. Then it developed a knocking sound, very loud and annoying. It is a known problem with the units but after the year warranty is over Ivation will not replace. So disappointed as I bought two Certainly won’t buy any more products from this company.
These dehumidifiers are amazing. They are quiet at night on sleep mode. I was surprised at the amount of water they collect. Can’t say enough good thing about them!
So far, very good. Quiet, small, many handles, good manual.
I'm using this unit to replace a vintage "Mighty Dry" dehumidifier in my 34 foot sailboat. The circa-2002 compressor style dryer was very expensive to replace, so I thought I'd try one of these desiccant units (at about 20% the cost). The continuous duty aspect of this model (via the permanently attached drain hose) was a must-have feature for me. However, there doesn't seem to be any way to firmly attach the hose to the barb---the hose (provided with the unit) just slides through a hole onto an internal barb that isn't accessible from outside the unit. I stow the unit while sailing, so I need to make sure the hose is still properly attached when I restore it to service (it drains into the galley sink). I first powered it up on a very humid day and it started making water right away. I set up a 5 gallon bucket for a test period and after a few days I could see that the dryer was clearly doing its job. It's been in operation for about a month now and seems to work as advertised. I can't attest to longevity but I assume/hope it will last for at least...read moreI'm using this unit to replace a vintage "Mighty Dry" dehumidifier in my 34 foot sailboat. I can't attest to longevity but I assume/hope it will last for at least a few years. The instructions are not detailed, and a bit confusing. The button for Mode determines fan speed, and Sweep button determines the range of motion for the fan outlet. The icons shown in the user manual for Sweep make no sense, and do not reflect what is shown in the actual display. So I had to step through various settings and monitor operation of the fan outlet to see what would actually occur (regardless of the display and manual info). Ideally, I would want high fan speed with lots of sweep motion to help keep my boat dry. When I first installed the unit it was very humid, so it was anxious to get working without much help from me. I turned it on and off it went. But when I returned on a less-humid day I couldn't operate the Mode and Sweep buttons. I thought the unit had failed, but it turns out that those button only function while the unit is actually operating. (This aspect would be helpful to mention in the user manual). So I set the Humidity setpoint to CO (for "Continuous") which made the unit operate regardless of the sensed humidity level. Once it was operating I could then set the Mode and Sweep as desired. So, I can recommend this unit based on a month of service, and will update if needed later on. If you try one of these remember to be careful with the hose connection, and be sure to force it into operation before trying to use the Mode and Sweep buttons.
